Background: Regular antenatal care visits that meet minimum standards (≥6 times) during pregnancy can help detect pregnancy problems early and reduce risks during delivery, thereby reducing maternal and infant mortality rates. Failure to attend antenatal care visits can increase maternal risk of delivery.
Purpose : This study aims to analyze the relationship between education level and antenatal care behavior at the Jatibanteng Community Health Center.
Methods: The study used a descriptive correlational design with a cross-sectional approach. Thirty-five respondents were randomly selected using simple random sampling. The dependent variable was antenatal care. Data were obtained using a questionnaire and analyzed using the chi-square statistical test with an α of ≤ 0.05.
Results: The study showed that 20 pregnant women (57.14%) had a high school education, and 24 pregnant women (68.57%) had undergone standard antenatal care.
Conclusion: There is a relationship between education level and antenatal care behavior at the Jatibanteng Community Health Center (p-value < 0.05).
