Pengaruh Cool Pack (Kompres Dingin) Terhadap Penurunan Nyeri Pada Pemaangan Infus di UGD Puskesmas Dumbaybulan

Latar Belakang: Nyeri merupakan respon fisiologis dan psikologis yang umum dialami pasien selama tindakan invasif seperti pemasangan infus. Upaya pengendalian nyeri yang efektif dan aman menjadi bagian penting dalam pelayanan keperawatan di unit gawat darurat.
Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian cool pack terhadap penurunan tingkat nyeri pada pasien yang menjalani tindakan pemasangan infus di Puskesmas Dumbayabulan.
Metode: Penelitian menggunakan desain pra-eksperimental dengan pendekatan one group pretest-posttest pada 30 responden yang dipilih secara purposive. Tingkat nyeri diukur menggunakan Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara tingkat nyeri sebelum dan sesudah intervensi (p = 0,000), dengan penurunan rerata dari 6,23 menjadi 2,57. Tidak ditemukan perbedaan bermakna berdasarkan jenis kelamin maupun pengalaman sebelumnya terhadap tindakan infus.
Simpulan: pemberian cool pack efektif menurunkan nyeri akibat pemasangan infus dan dapat direkomendasikan sebagai intervensi nonfarmakologis yang sederhana, aman, dan aplikatif di layanan primer.
